Welcome to the Sanity Bridge! I am happy you made it here.
The purpose of a bridge is to provide passage and a pathway over something like a depression or an obstacle that is difficult or impossible to cross, as well as provide access from one place to another. Bridges come in a variety of forms; however, one feature all bridges have is height. Whatever the bridge is spanning will determine its height. Whether it is a few feet, several yards or even miles high, all bridges provide something quite important… everything below it becomes a view or scenery. The overview of something or someplace from a bridge feels much different than being directly in it, especially if it is unpleasant.
The Sanity Bridge is an opportunity for an overview of various issues, experiences or situationships you may have encountered throughout your journey allowing them to become a neutral view or scenery while you are the observer. It is meant to offer you a “bigger picture” view, as well as educate and empower. You are here in this moment right now, so anything you see from this bridge is just a view. As with any experience, there is a chance you may have emotions or feelings come up as the sights, smells, scenery and sensations activate memories. Some views will feel close while others will feel further away. That’s where the bridge comes in handy. It is to remind you that you are above this view (memory), not in it, and the bridge can be made of whatever feels most safe and sturdy. It can be as high or low, as open or expansive, and as basic or elaborate as you wish or need it to be.
Deciding to cross the Sanity Bridge, whether this is your first bridge or you are a seasoned traveler, is certain to provide a different perspective to the scenery you have viewed in the past. It may bring you new clarity allowing you to untangle from confusing webs, allow you to surpass previous obstacles and illusions, provide a better vantage point to see something you may have lost, feel more faith, hope and trust, provide meaning to forgiveness and compassion, as well as discover, understand and love yourself in ways beyond your imagination and, above all, Freedom. As you gain more clarity and alignment in yourself, it may allow for more clarity in the scenery and situations you view from the bridge. *Remember, the bridge is a passage to something higher to get over and to someplace, so be sure to keep your visits on the bridge brief, keep going. Gather what bits are yours, bless, return and leave the rest and continue moving forward to the other side which offers you stability and Freedom!
This bridge has been in development for a long time. Throughout my life and my practice, I have encountered many others who have experienced something that contributed to creating patterns and reactions that may feel challenging to let go. Wherever and whatever the origin, learning new ways to Love and accept ourselves and taking steps toward health, wholeness and Freedom can often be the most Loving choices toward creating a more peaceful life.
Although each person is unique, and the details, people and locations are different, the underlying source is quite similar. My hope is you might find something helpful here that may have you feeling more confident in sorting through, letting go or integrating your pieces and purpose, as well as feeling more peace, comfort, wholeness, connectedness and Love.
If you are feeling ready to proceed across this bridge in search of a deeper and more meaningful connection with yourSelf and your Soul, discover new information, new possibilities, fresh perspectives or new/misplaced pieces to your puzzle, and you are wanting assistance navigating your way across any bridge, as well as a witness to what is revealed, you are invited to setup a session with Kara. I am wishing you safe, gentle and loving travels!
