Animal Sessions “Strange is our situation here on Earth. Each of us comes here for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a Divine purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know; That we are here for the sake of others… For the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy.” ~Albert Einstein
Einstein made this statement after an observation of the intelligence of animals in comparative to their human counterparts, in basis: How we treat each other living creature on this Earth.
Animals and Nature are an important part of our lives. As we become more aware of them and their sensitivity to feel changes as much, if not more than, we do, we can make efforts to understand and appreciate them in a new way and respect they certainly are having their own experience. Often, they are feeling and mirroring what is going on with their environment and those in it.
As their caregivers and guardians, it is up to us to provide love and stability for them. It can be helpful to be aware when we lean on them for support that it can be a lot for them, as much as it would be for an adult to lean on a child for support. Yes, many of them are here for support for us, however recognizing the opportunity to see ourselves through them, we can become healthier and more effective guardians and providers who can create space for everyone to have a more joy-full experience.
When we take time to be aware they are communicating with us, we can create a whole new relationship. It may not be easy to understand at first, but as we open ourselves to the possibility they have more to share with us than we have been able to receive, beautiful things can happen. We see this in so many ways already and they continue to show us more and more each day.
Honoring the experience Nature, the Animals, and Mother Earth (Gaia) and all her little beings are having provides space for compassion. They feel emotions like we do as well as pick up on those around them. Just like us, they would like us to be present with and for them, listen to them, care for them, share with them and create healthy and loving boundaries with them (and they with us). They actually provide an opportunity for us to see ourselves in the most gentle ways. We can learn to recognize ourselves in their behaviors, we can lean on each other for support in gentler ways and learn to be healthier & harmonious beings together.
Many of the same tools and techniques we use to care for and balance ourselves can be beneficial for animals and nature. They enjoy music, meditation, fun, laughter, exercise, healthy food, rest, peace and Love. Learning to listen to and appreciate them we can learn about and appreciate ourselves. By restoring a healthy balance, everyone can enjoy a happier, more comfortable and balanced relationship.
